This project for Keejen demonstrated our capability to integrate with a civil works team to successfully deliver a multidiscipline civil project. The Scope of works included 23,000m3 of cut to fill, Supply and placement 50,000T of on-site cement stabilised pugged DGB, construction of a private rail siding connecting to the UGL network, Hydraulic works, Electrical supply for cold storage units and lighting, concrete works and drainage. Keejen provided a project manager for these works, integrating with the site team and utilising the PC's systems to report financial status, project risks and program status internally.

The contract was facilitated successfully, with the client maintaining a positive relationship between PC and client. The project was completed within the contract completion date and is now a key piece of infrastructure supporting rail freight and removing vehicles from public roads along this line.

At Keejen, we take pride in our commitment to excellence, and the Rye Park Wind Farm project stands as a testament to our unwavering dedication to overcoming challenges and delivering outstanding results. As the Construction Manager supporting Zenviron, we played a pivotal role in orchestrating on-ground project support, seamlessly coordinating subcontractors, and collaborating with the Zenviron engineering team to ensure the success of this ambitious venture.

Cooperation with skilled subcontractors allowed an effective and robust road structure through wet, low-lying areas of the project. Designers, Earthworks Contractors, Principals and BOP Contractors cooperate to achieve the best project outcomes, allowing the trafficking of the world's most giant wheeled cranes to erect the wind turbines.

Several pavement designs and construction methodologies were considered economical, and robust methods were implemented, with challenges that were presented.

One notable highlight of the Rye Park Wind Farm project was the execution of public road upgrades. Under our meticulous supervision, these critical enhancements were completed without a hitch, showcasing our ability to navigate complex logistical landscapes with finesse. The smooth implementation of these upgrades enhanced the project's efficiency and contributed to the endeavour's overall success.
